verify n(AUB) + n(An B) = n(A) + n(B)

Answer:

n(AUB) = (1,4,6,9,10,16) = 6

n(AnB) = (1, 4, 9) =3

so, LHS,

6+3=9

now,

n(A) = (1, 4,6,9,10) = 5

n(B) = (1, 4,9,16) =4

so, RHS,

5+4=9

.
