It is given that the radius of the circular path is 21 m and the body describes an angle of 60° at the center of the circle.

We have to find the average speed and average velocity.

1) average speed =\frac{total distance}{total time}

total distance = arc length

arc length = radius × angle at centre

                  = 21 × \frac{\pi }{3}

                   = 7π

∴ average speed = \frac{7\pi }{10}

                             = 0.7\pi

                              = 2.2

2) average velocity =\frac{total displacement }{total time}

                              = \frac{21}{10}

                              =2.1
