Given that,

Acceleration = -1 m/s²

Time t = 10 sec

Initial velocity = 5 m/s

We need to calculate the speed of the body

Using equation of motion

v=u+at

Where, u = initial velocity

a = acceleration

t = time

Put the value into the formula

v=5+-1\times10

v=-10\ m/s

Hence, The speed of the body is -10 m/s.

(D) is correct option.
