6. A car travels 20km. at a uniform speed of 40km/hr and next 20km, at a speed of
30km/hr. Find the average speed. (Ans: 34.2 km/hr)

Answer:

avg speed = total distance /total time

= (20 + 20)/(0.5 + 0.67)

= 40/ 1.17

= 34.188 km/h
