Step-by-step explanation:

i) No of face cards = 3 (jack, queen, king)

No of suits = 4 (hearts, diamonds, spades, clubs)

==> total no of face cards = 4x3= 12

Therefore the probability is 12/52 = 3/13.

ii) No of diamond cards in a deck = 52/4 = 13.

==> Therefore the probability is 13/52 = 1/4.

iii) No of aces = 4

==> no of cards that are not aces = 52-4 = 48

Therefore probability of the card not being ace is 48/52 = 12/13.

iv) No of aces = 4

No of black suits = 2

==> No of black aces = 4/2 = 2

Therefore probability of an ace of black colour is 2/52 = 1/26.
