6. A cylindrical piller has a diameter of 56 cm and is of 35 m high. There are 16 pillars
around the building. Find the cost of painting the curved surface area of all the pillars at
the rate of 5.50 per 1 m?​

So,

= 2πrh

= 2 × 22/7 × 0.28 × 35

= 2 × 22/7 × 28/100 × 35

= 2 × 22 × 4 / 100 ×35

= 44 × 4/20 × 7

= 44/× 1/5 × 7

= 61.6 m^2

16 pillars CSA = 61.6 ×16

= 985.6 m^2

Rate = 5.50 / m^2

= 985.6 × 5.50

= ₹ 5420.8. Answer.
