• Now we have given a land of 1/2 acre.

• We have to divide it in two equal parts so as to 2 types of wheat if the farmer planted  an equal amount of each type of wheat.

• So, we get:

               = 1/2 ÷ 2

• Now reciprocating, we get:

               = 1/2 x 1/2

               = 1/4

Answer:

               1/4 acres of each type of wheat will the farmer  plant.
