6. A field is in the shape of a quadrilateral. One of its diagonals is 28m and the perpendicular
distances of the other two vertices to the diagonal are 32.5m and 22m. Find the area of the field.

area of first triangle in quadrilateral is 1/2 × base× height

so 1/2 × 28 × 32.5= 455m

area of second triangle of quadrilateral is 1/2× 28×22= 308m

area of quadrilateral is 455+308= 763m
