bc^2=ac^2-ab^2
=100-64=36
underoot of 36 =6
therefore bc =6 m
then again consider another triangle
BCD
were bc is ladder cd is base and bd is attitude
so again by pythagoras theorem
cd =8 m
then
x(width of road)= 8+6=14meters
