Solution here

cost price of 10 bananas=RS 45

cost price of 1 banana=Rs 45÷10

=Rs 4.5

Selling price of 12 bananas =Rs 51

Selling price of 1 banana=Rs 51÷12

=4.25

Loss=CP-SP

=Rs4.5-Rs4.25

=Rs 0.25

Loss %=loss÷CP×100%

=0.25÷4.5×100%

=5.55%

The loss percent is 5.55%

hopefully it is useful for you.

Answer:

18/9 % loss

Step-by-step explanation:

10 bananas got at 45 rupees

so one banana got at 4.5 rupees

12 bananas sold at 51 rupees

1 banana sold 51/12 = 17/4 rupees

loss = 4.5- 17/4 = (18-17)/4 = 1/4

loss % = (2.5/4.5)×1/100 = 50/9 %
