Total distance=100

in the first part of the journey,

time=2hr

speed=20km/hr

distance=speed*time

=20*2

=40km

In the rest of the journey

speed=10km/hr

Distance= 100-40

=60km

time=Distance÷speed

=60÷10

=6hr

Therefore,

Av. speed=total distance÷total

time

=100÷6+2

=100÷8

=12.5km/hr

Hope it is helpful!!
