Given :-

  • Radius of the milk tank = 1.5 m
  • Length of the milk tank = 7 m

To Find :-

  • Quantity of milk in liters that can be stored in the tank.

Solution :-

Volume of the cylinder :-

:\implies\sf{\pi r^2 \:h}

:\implies\sf{\dfrac{22}{7} \times (1.5)^2 \times 7 \:m }

:\implies\sf{22\times 2.25\: m^2 \times m }

:\implies\sf{49.5\: m^3}

∴ Volume of the cylinder =  49.5 m²

Now,

Quantity of milk can be stored in the tank (in liters) :-

:\implies\sf{1 \:m^3 =1000\:liters}

So,

:\implies\sf{49.5 \:m^3 =49.5 \times 1000}

:\implies\sf{49500\:liters}

∴ 49500 liters of milk can be stored in the tank.
