a) initial velocity , u = 0 m/s

final velocity , v = 32 m/s

time = 4s

 \boxed{acceleration =  \frac{v - u}{t} }

a \:  =  \frac{32 - 0}{4}  \\

 \\ a =  \frac{32}{4}

a = 8 \: m {s}^{ - 2}

b)

\boxed{s = ut +  \frac{1}{2} a {t}^{2}} \\

s =  \frac{1}{2}  \times 8 \times 16

s = 64 \: m
