Given:-

gain = 5  \:  percentage \\ s.p \: of \: 1 \: m \: cloth \:  =  \: 63rupees \\ c.p = ( \frac{100}{100 + g \: percent..} ) \:  \times s.p \\ c.p = (63 \times \frac{100}{100 + 5} ) \\ c.p = 60 \: rupees \\ thus \: the \: cost \: of \: 1m \: cloth = 60rupees \\ given \: s.p \:  = 52.50 \: rupees \\ c.p > s.p \\ he \: will \: get \: loss.

 = 60 - 52.50 = 7.50rupees

hence \\ the \: loss \: \:  incurred \: by \: selling \: the  \\ \: cloth \: at \: 52.50 \: is \: 7.50rupees
