Answer:

width -28

area - 1960

Step-by-step explanation:

perimeter of rectangle = 2( length + width)

length is 2.5 times width ( l= 2.5w)

2.5 w + w = 98

3.5 width = 98

width= 98/3.5 = 28

length = 2.5 * 28 = 70

area of rectangle = length * width = 28* 70 = 1960

Answer:

p= 98cm, W= x

l = 2.5x

2(2.5x+x)

2(3.5x)

7x= 98

x= 98÷7= 14

width is 14 cm

length is 35 cm

area = 14×35

= 490 cm ²
