Total output GST = 7874.1 Rs.

Given:

A registered computer engineer provides computer maintenance services to five different  x companies.

Company:           C           C_1                    CA               CA_{1}                 C_2

Service costs:  8200      12100             13600          8000              12500

Discount:             30%       25%                20%             15%              10%

Rate of GST is 18%.

To find:

Output GST for the computer engineer.

Explanation:

For company C Service costs:  8200  and  Discount:  30%

             So final cost = 8200 × 0.7 = 5740 Rs.

      and GST = 18% = 5740 ×0.18 = 1033.2 Rs.

For company  C_1   Service costs:  12100 and  Discount:  25%

              So final cost = 12100 × 0.75 = 9075 Rs.

           and GST = 18% = 9075 ×0.18 = 1633.5 Rs.

For company  CA  Service costs:  13600 and  Discount:  20%

              So final cost = 13600 × 0.8 = 10880 Rs.

           and GST = 18% = 9075 ×0.18 = 1958.4 Rs.

For company  CA_{1}   Service costs:  8000 and  Discount:  15%

              So final cost = 8000 × 0.85 = 6800 Rs.

           and GST = 18% = 6800 ×0.18 = 1224 Rs.

For company   C_2   Service costs:  12500 and  Discount:  10%

              So final cost = 12500 × 0.9 =11250  Rs.

           and GST = 18% = 11250 ×0.18 = 2025 Rs.

Total output GST =  1033.2 + 1633.5 +  1958.4 + 1224 +2025

Total output GST = 7874.1 Rs.
