Area of the room = (length \times breadth)

=(12.5×8) m²

= 100 m²

Square carpet side= 8m

Area of the square carpet = (side)²

=(8)²

=64 m²

Area of the floor which is not carpeted = (Area of the room)-(Area of the carpet)

= (100-64)m²

= 36 m²

Hence, the rea of the room which is not carpeted is 36 m²

the measure of each brick= 22.5 cm

No. of bricks required =Total Area/Area of 1 brick

150×9/22.5/100×7.5/100

=80000 bricks
