Hey mate ,

6a^2 - a -15 = 0

6a^2 - 10a +9a -15 =0

2a(3a-5) +3(3a-5) =0

(2a+3)(3a-5) = 0

Thus ,

2a+3 = 0 | 3a-5=0

a = -3/2 | a = 5/3

Hope you find it helpful!!!!

6a {}^{2}  - a - 15 \\  \\ 6 {a }^{2}  - 10a - 9a - 15 = 0 \\  \\

2a(3a - 5) + 3(3a - 5) \\   \\ (2a + 3)(3a - 5) = 0 \\  \\ 2a + 3 = 0 \\ or \\ 3a - 5 = 0 \\ a =  \frac{ - 3}{2}  \\ or \\ a =  \frac{5}{3}
