The  expansion of the wire is given as,

\Delta L=l\alpha\Delta T      (1)

Where,

ΔL=by what amount the wire has expanded

l=natural length of the wire

α=coefficient of linear expansion

ΔT=change in temperature

As both thick and thin wire is of the same material their α will be the same.

\Delta T=90\textdegree-10\textdegree=80\textdegree

Also, the range of change in temperature is the same.

∴ When other variables are kept constant the increase in length depends only on the original length which is the same in both cases. So, both wires will show the same expansion.
