⇒ Given:

Length of the wooden sheet = 15 m

Width of the wooden sheet = 6 m

Cost of painting 1 m² = Rs. 30

⇒ To Find:

The cost of painting both the sides of the wooden sheet.

⇒ Formula to be used:

\boxed{\sf{Area\:of\:a\:rectangle=lb}}

⇒ Solution:

Length of the wooden sheet = 15 m

Width of the wooden sheet = 6 m

Area of the sheet = length x breadth

= 15 x 6

= 90 m²

As both the sides have to be painted,

Total area to be painted = 2 x 90 m²

= 180 m²

The total area to be painted is 180 m².

Cost of painting 1 m² = Rs. 30

So, cost of painting 180 m² = 180 x 30

= Rs. 5400

Hence the total cost of painting the wooden sheet is Rs. 5400.
