consider it to be two triangle

triangle abp and adp

prove that abp is congruent to adp

ab=ac(given)

ap=ap(common)

angle apb= angle apd = 90 degree(ap is perpendicular)

therefore triangles are congruent

hence proved angle abp=adp (c.p.c.t)

thus it is isoceles triangle
