task? Briefly explain your answer.

The mixture of sugar-salt solution can be separated by evaporation. If the water is completely evaporated we will get separated sugar from the mixture. If we dissolve the mixture in alcohol we will get the salt separated while sugar will be dissolved in alcohol.

• Ali must boil the mixture at high temperature. The water boils at 212° F and sugar crystallizes at 320° F.
• Thus, on boiling the mixture, the water will evaporate. The remaining part will be the crystals of sugar. Therefore, the mixture is separated.
