6Ω and 4Ω resistors are connected in series. find the current in the circuit is 18V(volts) when potential difference is applied across it. also find the potential difference across each resistor

here v = 18v, r1 = 6 ohm, r2 = 4 ohm

we know that V = IR

here total resistance = 6+4 = 10

so 18 = I×10

I = 18/10 =1.8

so V in 6 ohm resistance = 1.8 × 6 = 10.8

and V in 4 ohm resistance = 1.8 × 4 = 7.2
