1. The boy writes a letter to God for his request. He requests God to send him money as his crops and field were destroyed that year and he would not be able to earn a living from selling his yield and his family would go hungry.

2. The postman wanted to keep his hope in God alive and thus, send him money so that he would not starve but the boy was ungrateful as he wondered whether some money had been stolen instead of being happy that he got money in the first place.
