a) The British were not against Indian economic development if it increased their markets but refused to help in areas where they felt there was conflict with their own economic interests or political security. So in many areas India has grown positively due to the rule
b) Indian historians call the modern period as the colonial period because at that time India was ruled and controlled by the British,i.e. India became the colony of British.. This is the reason why Indian historians called modern period as colonial period
c) National Archives of India serves as a useful source of history as Archives is the place where important records and documents are store which was lying in the past. They help us to know our history more better and give us the sufficient knowledge if once we visit there.
