Burning of fuels is an undesirable change because;
- it releases carbon dioxide(as a part of smoke) which is a harmful green house gas.
⇒release of CO2 is due to the partial combustion.
- it also releases other toxic fumes such as oxides of nitrogen and sulphur, which later results in acid rain.
→In other aspects commonly used fuels require a good amount of heat energy for combustion. Hydrogen is an combustible fuel which is still not a common fuel.
