Volume of cube of side 'a' $\[ = {a^3}\]$

(a) Find the length of cube when volume is 1728 ml cube,

Assume that the length of cube is $x$,

$\[\begin{array}{l}\therefore {x^3} = 1728\\ \Rightarrow x = \sqrt[3]{{1728}}\\ \Rightarrow x = 12\,{\rm{cm}}\end{array}\]$

Hence the length of cube is 12 cm.
