Given:

Six charges = Q, 2Q ,3Q , 4Q , 5Q, and 6Q

Test charge = q

Shape where the charge is placed = Hexagon

To Find:

Force exerted on the test charge

Solution:

If magnitude of force applied by +Q on +q charge then it will be = 1

Thus, the net electric force on the +Q is nF

When F = 1/4πe × q1q2/r²

= 3 × 3

= 9

Answer : The force exerted on the test charge is 9F.
