TYPES OF VIRUS:-

PLANT VIRUS:-Virus that infect plant single stranded RNA.

ANIMAL VIRUS:-Virus that infect animals have either single or double stranded RNA or double stranded DNA.

BACTERIAL VIRUS OR BACTERIOPHAGE:-Virus that infect the bacteria are usually double stranded DNA virus.

Based on there genetic material virus classifications is in three
1 DNA virus - they have DNA as there genetic material
2 RAN virus - they have RNA as there genetic material
3 Ritro virus - they contain RNA as there genetic material but when it infects organism it converts its RNA to DNA by reverse subscribese enzyme

The second type is based on where the virus is dependent or parasite
1 animal parasite - the animal is the host cell
2 plant parasite - the plant is the host cell
3 bacteria parasite- the bacteria is the host cell
