Given:-

  • Radius of cylinder = 0.7m
  • CSA of cylinder = 4.4m²

To Find:-

  • Height of cylinder

Solution:-

Let's assume that height of cylinder be x m.

 \sf \implies \: 2 \: \pi \: rh = 4.4m {}^{2}   \\ \\  \sf\implies \: 2 \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times 0.7  \times x= 4.4m {}^{2}  \\ \\   \sf\implies \:  \frac{30.8}{7} x = 4.4m {}^{2}  \\   \\ \sf\implies \:    \boxed{\boxed{ \purple{{ \sf{x = 1m}}}}}

Therefore, height of cylinder is 1 meter .

Extra info about Cylinder:-

Volume of cylinder = πr²h

TSA = 2πrh + 2πr^2

Radius(r) = √V/πh

Explanation:

Given:

the height as h: ?

csa = 4.4m²

r = 0.7m²

so, h = 2πrh = 4.4m²

=> 2*22/7*0.7*h =4.4m²

=>44/7*0.7*h=4.4m²

=>44*0.1*h = 4.4m²

=>4.4*h = 4.4m²

=>h= 4.4/4.4

h= 1m

thus the height of the cylinder = 1m
