6. Devika has a square piece of cloth of area 9 m and she wants to ma
16 square-shaped scarves of equal size out of it. What should possibly be
length of the side of the scarf that can be made out of this piece?
7. The area of a square plot is 800 m. Find the estimated length of the side of
plot.

Answer:

Area of square shape cloth = 9 M2

Required no of square shaped skirts=16

Required area of each skirt= 9÷16=0.5625 m2

Length of each skirt= √0.5625=0.75m

let the side of the square plot = a m

area = 800m2

a^2=800m2

a= square root 800m2

a=20*root2

a= 20*1.414

a=28.28 m approximately
