10= side²

√10= side

√10 = √2×5

√10 = √2√5

The above expression is the radical form of √10. If we want to write it in decimal form, put the values of √2 and √5which is approximately equal to 1.414 and 2.236 respectively. Hence,

√10= 1.414 × 2.236

√10 = ±3.162 approximately

so we can write 3.1 as a side

= 3.1 cm = side
