6. Factorise the following by spitting the middle term.
i) 3x2 - x - 4
ii) x2 - 14x + 49
iii) 6x2 + 5x - 6​

i) 3x²-x-4

=3x²-4x+3x-4

=x(3x-4)+1(3x-4)

=(3x-4)(x+1)

ii)X^2 +10x+4x+40

X(x+10)+4(x+10)

(X+10)(x+4)

iii) 6x²+5x-6

=> 6x²-4x+9x-6

=> 2x(3x-2)+3(3x-2)

=> (3x-2)(2x+3)
