\fcolorbox{red}{blue}{\pink{Cost of fencing a rectangular field:-}}

 \huge{ \color{purple}{ \colorbox{grey}{Length = 34m 20cm}}}

{ \boxed{\fcolorbox{black}{pink}{(1m = 100 cm}}}

{ \boxed{\fcolorbox{black}{pink}{= 20 cm = 0.2m)}}}

\mathbb{{\color{purple}{Length = 34 + 0.2 = 34.2 m}}}

breadth = 16m 30 cm

(1m = 100 cm

=30 cm = 0.3m)

\fcolorbox{red}{blue}{\pink{Breadth b = 16 + 0.3 = 16.3 m}}

Now,{1}

Cost of fencing rectangular field at

= ₹40× perimeter of rectangular field

Perimeter:

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(length+breadth)

☞2(34.2 + 16.3)

☞101 m

cost of fencing =₹ 40 × 101 = ₹4040

{2}Cost of turfing rectangular field at ₹21/m²

\orange{\bold{\underbrace{\overbrace{☞₹21 × Area \:of \:Rectangular \:field }}}}

Area:

Area of Rectangular field = length×breadth

\bold\pink{= 34.2 m × 16.3 m}

\bold\pink{= 557.46 m²}

Required cost turfing = ₹21 × 557.46 = ₹ 11706.66
