6. Find the cost of tiling a rectangular plot of land 300 m long and 150 m wide at the rate of $6 per hundred square m.

Given,

As we know that,

  • Area = l × b

Where , l is length and b is breadth

Hence, Area of plot is 45000m²

Now , we have to find the cost of tilling rectangular plot of land :

Given that,

  • Rate of $6 per hundred square m

》Total cost tilling = 45000 × 6 / 100

》270000/100
