Mean=Sum of the given data/Total number of the given data

i.)First six whole numbers=1,2,3,4,5 and 6

Total number of data=6

Mean=1+2+3+4+5+6/6=21/6=3.5

ii)First six odd numbers=1,3,5,7,9 and 11

Total number of data=6

Mean=1+3+5+7+9+11/6=36/6=6

iii)First ten composite numbers=4,6,8,9,10,12,14,15,16 and 18

Total number of data=10

Mean=4+6+8+9+10+12+14+15+16+18/10=112/10=11.2

iv)The prime numbers between 5 and 25= 7,11,13,17,19 and 23

Total number of data=6

Mean=7+11+13+17+19+23/6=90/6=15

v)All the factors of 24=1,2,3,4,6,12 and 24

Total number of data=7

Mean=1+2+3+4+6+12+24/7=52/7=7.42

vi)First five multiples of 7=7,14,21,28 and 35

Total number of data=5

Mean=7+14+21+28+35/5=105/5=21
