QUESTION - 6

A ) Given to find ratio of 5m to 10km

SOLUTION:-

For finding ratio units must be same If they are different units We have to Convert into same units

So,

1km = 1000m

10km = 10×1000m

10km = 10,000m

Ratio of 5m : 10km is

5m : 10,000m

5 : 10,000

1 : 2000

So, ratio of 5m : 10km is 1:2000

QUESTION - 6

B) Given ratio to find 50 paisa to 5 Rs

1 Rupee = 100 paisa

5Rs = 5×100 paisa

5Rs = 500 paisa

Ratio of 50 paisa : 5Rs

50 paisa : 500 paisa

50 : 500

1 : 10

So Ratio of 50 paisa to 5Rs is 1: 10

QUESTION - 7 :-

A) 15% Of x is 5

We have find value of x

Percentage means per cent = 1/100

1% = 1/100

15% = 15/100

of means = multiplication

15% Of x is 5

\dfrac{15}{100} x = 5

\dfrac{15x}{100} = 5

15x = 500

x = \dfrac{500}{15}

x = \dfrac{5\times 100}{5\times 3}

x = \dfrac{100}{3}

So, 15% Of x is 5 x= 100/3

QUESTION- 7

B) 45%of x+30% of 90=30%of 210

45 % = 45/100

45% = 9/ 20

30% = 30/100

30% = 3/10

45%of x+30% of 90=30%of 210

\dfrac{9}{20} x + \dfrac{3}{10} 90 = \dfrac{3}{10} × 210

\dfrac{9x}{20} + 3×9 = 3×21

\dfrac{9x}{20} + 27 = 63

\dfrac{9x}{20} = 63-27

\dfrac{9x}{20} = 36

9x = 36×20

9x = 720

x = 720/9

x = 80

So, the value of x is 80

QUESTION- 8

They have given

CP = 150

SP = 200

We have to find profit and P%

Profit = SP-CP

Profit % = profit/CP × 100

PROFIT = SP - CP

Profit = 200-150

Profit = 50Rs

Profit % = profit/CP × 100

P% = \dfrac{50}{150} 100

P% = \dfrac{1}{3} 100

P%= \dfrac{100}{3}

P% = 33.3%
