x=(-4)

Substitute x=(-4) in the given equation..

 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:   \:  \:  \: p(x) =  {x}^{2}  + 3x + m \\  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  p( - 4) =  {( - 4)}^{2}  + 3( - 4) +m \\   \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: = 16 - 12 + m \\  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  = 4 + m \\ m = ( - 4)
