  • GIVEN:-

(2x+60)° and (3x-40)°

  • To Find:-

The value of x.

  • SOLUTION:-

We know that sum of angles in a straight line is 180°.

As PQ is a straight line,

We can say that,

\large{\sf{(2x+60) + (3x-40) = 180\degree}}

According to the question,

\large\Longrightarrow{\sf{2x+60 + 3x-40= 180}}

\large\Longrightarrow{\sf{5x+20= 180}}

\large\Longrightarrow{\sf{5x= 180-20}}

\large\Longrightarrow{\sf{5x= 160}}

\large\Longrightarrow{\sf{x= \huge\frac{160}{5}}}

\huge\red\therefore\boxed{\sf{\red{x= 32}}}
