• SOLUTION:-

We know that sum of angles in a straight line is 180°.

As PQ is a straight line,

We can say that,

$\large{\sf{(2x+60) + (3x-40) = 180\degree}}$

According to the question,

$\large\Longrightarrow{\sf{2x+60 + 3x-40= 180}}$

$\large\Longrightarrow{\sf{5x+20= 180}}$

$\large\Longrightarrow{\sf{5x= 180-20}}$

$\large\Longrightarrow{\sf{5x= 160}}$

$\large\Longrightarrow{\sf{x= \huge\frac{160}{5}}}$

$\huge\red\therefore\boxed{\sf{\red{x= 32}}}$
