6. Find the zeroes of the polynomial x2+7x+10 and verify the relationship between zeroes and

By spliting method :

x^2 + 7x + 10 = 0..................1 * 10 = 10

= 5*2

x^2 + 5x + 2x +10 = 0

x (x + 5) + 2 (x + 5) = 0

(x + 5) (x + 2) = 0 ..................... (x + 5) will be common.

(x + 5) = 0 OR (x + 2) = 0

x = 0 - 5 x = 0 - 2

x = -5 x = -2

Therefore, the zeros pf polynomial are -5, -2.

Here, Alpha = -5 ; Beta = -2

a = 1 ; b = 7 and c = 10

The sum of zeroes = -b/a

Alpha + Beta = -b/a

here, " " " = -7/1

The product of zeroes = c/a

Alpha * Beta = 10/1

here, " " " = 10/1

Therefore, The sum of zeroes is not equal to product of zeroes.
