Let the water of hydration be x.

Now mass of water=6 - 4.4=1.6g.

Moles of salt in LHS= 6/150

Therefore,moles of water in =6x/150

Mass of water=(6x/150)18

And in reaction we have find that mass of water is 1.6g(...in 2nd line..)

Therefore,(6x/150)18=1.6g

x=2.2222..

So,water of hydration is 2
