6. Give reasons for the following.
(a) Fresh milk is boiled before consumption while processed milk stored in packets can be consumed
without boiling
(b) Raw vegetables and fruits are kept in refrigerators whereas jams and pickles can be kept outside.
(C) Farmers prefer to grow beans and peas in nitrogen deficient soils.
(d) Mosquitoes can be controlled by preventing stagnation of water though they do not live in water.why?​

A) Because fresh milk is directly obtained from cows or goats, which may contain certain bacterias, thqt may lead to diseases.

B) This is because fresh fruits and vegetables rot easily when kept in direct contact with air. Whereas, jams and pickles are made by using preservatives, which makes them stay good and fresh for longer periods of time.

C) This is because, beans and peas are leguminous plants, which contain a good bacteria called rhizobium. It helps in fixing nitrogen from the air to the soil.

D) Because mosquitoes lay eggs in water. By preventing stagnation of water, the mosquitoes are thus, prevented from laying eggs in such water.

a because packed milk is prevesly preserved by the method of pasteurization hence this is not recommended to boil packed milk

B . because raw vegetables and fruits are preserved by cooling but jam and pickel are previously preserved by adding salt and sugar thus they are not kept in refrigerator

C . because rhizobium bacteria are present in the root of beans and peas , this type of plants called leguminous plant
