there are four types of industries they are primary, secondary ,tertiary and quaternary. Primary Industries involve getting raw material example mining farming and fishing. secondary industry involve manufacturing example making cars and Steels. tertiary industry provide a service example teaching and nursing.

well sorry but I don't know about quaternary industry....

industry- the production of good in factories....
