consider a,b,c,d be the 4 points,

given that no 3 points are collinear

=> the maximum no. of points in a line taken is 2

imagine that we are drawing in a graph,

first plot the pnt, a

then plot pnt b at any coordinate and join points a & b, line AB is formed.

next plot pnt c such that it does not lies on the line AB (as a,b,c cannot lie on the same line)

Join pnts b and c , line BC is formed

similarly plot point d on the graph such that it doesnt lie on either on line AB or BC

join points c and d and name it as CD. also join a,d and name it as CD.

Now what we get is a 4 sided figure and that implies it is a Quadrilateral
