mass of solute =6gm

mass of solvent=100gm

:.we know

mass of solution=

mass of solute+mass of solvent

=6g+100gm

=106gm

therefore.

mass percentage of solution

=mass of solute ×100÷mass of solution

=6g×100÷100

=5.66%
