Determinants -
A determiner is a word used to modify or introduce a noun in a sentence. Most act like adjectives because they relate to nouns. Determinants include articles, set adjectives, demonstrative adjectives, and possessive adjectives. The determinant does not have to come at the beginning of the sentence. Can be used with nouns anywhere in a sentence.
According to the Oxford Learner's Dictionary, determiners are defined as "words such as the, some, my, etc." According to the Cambridge Dictionary, a determiner is "a word used before a noun to indicate which particular instance of the noun is being referred to." The Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines a determiner as "a word that embodies the designation of a noun phrase (such as an article, possessive pronoun, demonstrative pronoun, quantifier, etc.)".
