the mole fraction means number of moles of solute (ie urea ) in this question upon total number of moles present in the solution.

mol mass of urea = 60g

weight of urea prent = 6 grams.

moles of urea =6/60=1/10=0.1 moles    ---------------[1]

now mol mass of water = 18 g

wt of water present = 9g

moles of water = 9/18=0.5 moles----------------------[2]

mole farction = [1]/[1]+[2] = 0.1 / 0.6 =1/6=0.1667
