6. Hari bought 20 kg of rice at 36 per kg and 25 kg of rice at * 32 per kg. He mixed the two
varieties and sold the mixture at * 38 per kg. Find his gain per cent in the whole
transaction.

CP of 20 Kg of rice= 36×20

= 720

CP of 25 Kg of rice=32×25

=800

Total CP= 720+800

=1520

SP of 45(20+25) Kg of rice = 45×38 =1710

SP>CP

Therfore,Gain=SP-CP

=1710-1520

=190

Gain%=Gain/CP × 100

=190/1520×100

=12.5% Ans........
