- After the demise of Shashanka of Gaudadesha, Harshavardhana won Orissa, Magadha, Vodra, Kongonda (Ganjam) and Bengal (Gaudadesha). Later he defeated the ruler of Nepal and received tributes from him. He established his supremacy by defeating North-Indian Kingdoms.
