1) European trader first came across fine cloth in India in 'mosul' present in Iraq and since then all fine quality indian cloth came to termed as 'muslin'.

2)the Portuguese had first landed at clicut in India in search of spices they also took since cloth back to Europe with them which came to known as 'calicos' which refer to cotton textile

3) the word 'bandanna'refer to bright coloured scarf tren was derived from hindi word 'bandhana' mean may type of bright coloured cloth
